ACCOMMODATION

Accommodation in the house is spacious and comfortable. The large kitchen/dining room is roofed with the original old beams. There is a well-equipped modern kitchen, with cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer. At the other end is the dining area, with a large oak table seating up to six people in comfort.

One door leads through a passage to a bathroom, with bath, shower and WC and to the back bedroom, which has an antique four-poster bed, Arts and Crafts furniture and a spectacular sea view. You can lie in bed, looking out over the waves.

The other door leads into the living room, which has a rather medieval character. It rises to the full height of the house, with a large open fireplace in the stone gable wall. A staircase leads up to the gallery, which is a spacious open-plan area with sea views from panoramic windows and a balustrade overlooking the living room below. Half of the gallery is laid out as a generous second seating area and the other half as a bedroom with a double and single bed. Once again, you can lie in bed and look out over the waves.

Off the living room is the front bedroom. This is a large bright room, with a window seat overlooking Loch Bay. It contains a lovely Arts and Crafts oak bedroom suite, c.1900, with a double and a single bed, and has an en-suite WC and washbasin.
